When you arrive for your first appointment we will spend some time chatting with you so you can fill us in about your child’s needs and what you are hoping to gain from visiting us.  We will also spend time working directly with your child talking, playing and/or administering formal assessments; depending on the age and needs of your child. Most assessment sessions take between 45 minutes and 2 hours, and can be spread across more than one session if need be.

 

Following the assessment process we will write a report summarising our findings and recommendations. This may be all you need from us; however it may be beneficial for your child to stay with us for some intervention
